Samuel is a PhD candidate in Biotechnology (Reg: I80/53816/2018, expected 2026) co-supervised with Dr. Benard Kulohoma at the Centre for Biotechnology and Bioinformatics (CEBIB). His doctoral research focuses on the genomic characterisation of enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli in animals and humans from western Kenya and Nairobi, with emphasis on infectious disease virulence and antimicrobial resistance. He holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Biomedical Sciences and Technology from Egerton University.
