Automobile and parts industries involve different stages such as development stage manufacturing, retailing, assembling and maintenance. Designing and assembling automobiles is a complex task. Automobile has been faced by increased globalization in recent years. Globalization can be grouped into categories such as challenges of new markets, challenges of customer demands and sales trends. This manuscript studies on how computational methods such as inventory technique and numerical scattering analysis are applied in automobile and parts industries. Data analysis is a vital component in strategic planning for industries such as automobile that are aware of global competition and increasing customer demands. There are various ways of dealing with different challenges affecting automobile and parts industries for example lean manufacturing. Lean manufacturing can enhance flexibility, increase profits and boost market shares.
