info Overview
miRNAVISA is a web application developed at DASCLAB that enables interrogation and comparison of miRNA families for hypothesis generation. The name derives from a concatenation of miRNA and VISA — connoting both "visualisations" of analysed data variables (species, chromosomes, miRNA families) and "entry" into the exciting world of microRNA biology. Unlike computational miRNA tools that serve primarily as pipeline components, miRNAVISA is explicitly designed for use by both biological and computational scientists.
