1. ABSTRACT The study was carried out to determine how funds allocated to health sector promote and participate in provision of high health services.The health information systems in Trans-Nzoia county indicate that there is no significant change in the number of patients despite the fund that have been allocated to Trans-Nzoia county. Underlying data was used in the study.The standard deviation and percentages were obtained.The study established that there are alot of funds allocated but they are misused.The county residents lack proper medical care. The study recommened that proper systems should be put in place for allocation of funds and external audits to be hired to carry out financial audits.The corrupt parties should be held accountable to reduce such cases.
