Official Statistics Survival Analysis
Survival Analysis has become an important outcome of medical trial. A present study was carried out on the survival analysis for patients with bladder cancer. The data was obtained from CRAN. The Kaplan-Meier Estimate method was used to obtain the survival function and median time among the primary and metastatic tumor of bladder cancer. The log-rank test was used to test the di erences in the survival curves. The second approach was based on the eciency of cox proportional hazards model and parametric model. Some criteria of residuals were used for judging the goodness of t among the candidate models. The cox proportional hazard (PH) model provided an e ective covariate on the hazard function. The prognostic factors are: number of patient having bladder cancer at diagnosis, tumor size, stop time and event which is helpful to determine the treatment. The Accelerated Failure Time (AFT) was applied to the data with four distortions. AFT with Weibull distortions was chosen to be the best model for our data by testing the AIC.
