In the promotion of the people's health, it is crucial to keep a record of the patients. The data is helpful in tracking the success of the measures put to fight the various diseases. The project was triggered by the frequent media reports on increased number of patients seeking health care services. The research data was sourced from the District Health Information System (DHIS). The records help in deciding the actions to be taken when there is need to improve the health situation of a given locality. Initiatives such as public awareness may be considered where the records show a rise in infections such as in Malaria whose spread can be controlled through collective responsibility. This project will focus on health records from Nyeri collected in a period of five years between 2013 and 2017. The data shows failures and the successes in the fight against various diseases. The data gives a picture of the health situation in the county.
