Many high performance computing applications produce a large amount of data to be analyzed and presented. To this end, specic tools, policies, libraries, and concepts have been developed to aid the visualization of output data from a supercomputer. Presenting output data from a high performance computing simulation in a visually understandable way may even require supercomputing resources in itself.
