Analysis Of Prevalent Diseases And Maternal Health Care Based On Data From The District Health Information Systems
We are going to review the health status of Murang’a County based on the data extracted from DHIS 1&2. We will identify and discuss how the most prevalent diseases such as malaria, intestinal worms, diseases of the skin, diarrhea among other diseases and maternal-related cases are affecting the county. We will use R programming language to draw graphs and demonstrate the various trends observed. The aim of this research is to analyze the available data in order to highlight the strengths and weaknesses of the county’s health system. We will also state the measures to be taken in order to improve the health status of the county.
