ACRONYMS DHIS: District Health Information ABSTRACT DHIS2 is a tool for collection, validation, analysis and presentation of aggregate and patient based statistical data. The study looks into DHIS2 data from Busia County from 2013-2017 so as to asses major problems affecting general heath care in the county causes of the problems and possible solutions. The study established that poor hygiene of the population and basically lack of proper knowledge are the major problems affecting general healthcare in the county. From the study findings, we recommend mass education on proper hygiene via programmes. The social amenities in the rural areas should be improved. The county government should set aside funds for set up of mobile clinic in inaccessible areas to reach majority of the population.
