The aim of this paper is to present the R software package called Lubridate as a facilitator for working with data that contains dates and times. Data analysts are faced with numerous technical problems while handling date-time data. This paper presents solutions to some of them with advice that is practical by using the Lubridate package. We achieve this through manipulation of date-time data using Lubridate functions in R software. The methods used, data collection and results are also shown for clarity. The results are discussed at length in a way that clearly brings out the ease in functionality of this package.
