Application Of Statistical Computational Methods In Automobiles And Parts Industry.

Completed calendar_month 2014 group 3 Students

descriptionProject Overview

The pressure from globalization has made manufacturing industries moving towards three competitive arenas; quality, cost, responsiveness. Like any other manufacturing industry, automobile industry is keeping pace with the pressure and the cutting edge-technology and research and development. The objective of this paper Is discuss major statistical and computational methods used in automobile industries help provide the best to their clients, highlight the relative objective, importance and limitation of the methods while shading some light of extra useful computational methods incorporable in the industry. The results of this research will help automobile manufacturers realize the much computational methods inputs required in the industry to solve problems and quality issues, product design, manufacturing and sales. The research can be extended to incorporate data and solutions from various industries
