Food Production

Computational Methods Used In Food Production.
In recent years, interest in developing computational techniques for food production has increased. Today, due to the great complexity of food production and the high number of parameters used, conventional approaches are no longer sufficient. Therefore, in manufacturing, computational techniques have achieved several applications, namely, modelling and simulation manufacturing processes, optimization manufacturing parameters, monitoring and control, computer-aided process planning, etc. The main aim is to provide recent information on computational techniques applied in food production. Calculation of heat transfer rates in processing of foods is essential in order to design optimum processing conditions and the required equipment. The use of computational methods in food processing heat transfer applications that has been published in recent years is briefly presented in this paper.
