High Performance Computing

High Performance And Parallel Computing.
This is the use of parallel processing for running advanced application programs in an efficient, reliable and in a quick manner. Jobs that would alternatively consume a lot of time to execute due to large data sets are run in R where the data is processed in a fast manner and takes only a matter of minutes. High performance computing involves: Implicit and Explicit Parallelism, Hadoop, Grid Computing, Random Numbers, Resource managers and batch Schedulers and applications. Packages in R are used to run specific programs to achieve high performance. These packages are found in CRAN and include Snow, Snowfall, recluyer, Rhpc, Foreach, HistogramTools, Profc, proftools, aprof, GUIProfiler, Caret and pROC Batch Jobs and Batch experiments.
