The major objective of this study is to know more about the use of machine learning and statistical learning, its advantages and disadvantages, and its application in today’s world. This article contains two examples of real life applications of package Caret and more specifically analysis of german credit data used in credit ratings. R program is used to train the data sets and hence enable the computer to make decisions and also give output that is objective. Linear regression and multiple regression techniques have been applied in the data training and classification among other statistical methods for data analysis. The R codes used for each output have been indicated above and the respective graphs attached for reference.
