The research is based on the healthcare system in Nyanza which is situated in the western part of Kenya. Data obtained from the District Health Information System of the region; for the years 2013 to 2017; has been gathered, grouped, analyzed and its results interpreted in a bid to improve health services in the region. Analysis has been done through the R-code to come up with trends for the diseases prone in the region. We hope that this report sheds light on areas that could be made better in order to improve the welfare of the people in Nyanza region.
