The Brain Tumor affects many people, making its detection a priority in the medical field . Brain Tumor is the abnormal growth of cells inside the brain cranium. Early detection of the brain tumor is possible with the advancement of image processing (IP) . We have studied various brain images using R programming software. This has enabled us to perform image segmentation and skull scrapping in order to have more enhanced images. The images, which are free from noise, can be used in tumor detection.
