The subject of the study involved creation of interactive web applications. This was to be accomplished using the R Shiny statistical package, as well as other relevant packages such as ggplot2 and Leaflet for data visualization. Using the aforementioned packages, we managed to create an interactive web application to enable analysis and visualization of the health data for Kenya, Swaziland and Botswana. The aim was to create this web application to ease policy making by providing simplified summaries and plots to facilitate data-driven policy making.
