The study was carried out to analyze data from DHIS in Eastern province consisting of 8 counties. We used R programming packages to show the trends of various diseases between the year 2013 and 2017.The study aims at aiding Ministry of Health,non-governmental health related organizations (WHO,UN),policy makers and health stakeholders for appropriate planning and development of program that aid in disease control and eradication. Study findings has revealed that there has been an increase and decrease in numbers of various diseases. It was concluded that poverty and poor hygiene are the major causes of most of the diseases in the counties around Eastern province. The study recommended that more health infrastructure be built in the more remote areas in the province .The county health ministries should also create more awareness on the importance of health care and various preventive measures against diseases. The main limitation is the human error.
