Strategic And Effective Resource Allocation To Improve On Health Services: A Case Study Of Central Province
Following devolution in Kenya, health became one of the County Government's functions. Central province is the fifth largest province in Kenya covering 11,449 km. The objective of the study is to facilitate strategic and effective resource allocation in Central province to improve the quality of health services. Therefore, we seek to evaluate the prevalence of different kinds of diseases in the province and the trend in various maternal and new born health facets in central province. Thereafter, we will recommend the counties that have the highest disease prevalence and worst trends in maternal and newborn health and suggest strategies which could improve such areas.
