Infections Causing Child Mortality In Kenya
The study was carried out to analyze data obtained from KDHS. The aim of the study was to investigate the determinants of child mortality and to provide an analysis by considering the diseases that affect children that is ARI, fever and diarrhea among the provinces in Kenya. The research technique was based on a statistics tool, R. From the analysis, we found out that diarrhea affects most children especially those between 24-35 months of age with male children being more susceptible to infection. The study recommended that more medical facilities should be set up in the heavily affected provinces.
