The data from the UNHCR population statistics website sheds light on the current refugee situation in the country separating in terms of demographics and origin area. An analysis was carried out to note the largest contributor by age-range, origin, gender, measure of the trend in the 21 st century and figuring out the reasons why. To enhance our analysis, the statistical package R was used in visualization, analysis and testing models. From this, we were able to note the changes and link them to current and previous affairs, making recommendations on how to manage the refugee situation in Kenya.
