Mathematical And Statistical Computational Methods Applicable To General Retailing.

Completed calendar_month 2014 group 3 Students

descriptionProject Overview

General retailing involves selling a variety of goods to the public. A retailer sells goods to the consumers. Computational science is concerned with constructing mathematical models and quantitative analysis technique. We look into some computational methods which seek to solve optimization of resources , how change of inputs can affect sales ,and how to solve distribution problem in transport model ,we also aim at looking on how to determine the most appropriate supplier of goods to a retailer based on quality through hypothesis testing. The analysis involves a study of computational methods such as simplex method, hypothesis testing , interpolation among other applications.
